Aickin Chambers 200 Queen Street, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

200 Queen Street (Aickin Chambers) was Grocon Construction’s first high rise development and used as a template for Rialto Towers.  A long standing, tightly held building historically housing law firms, and over time an increasing number of BCL floors, 200 Queen Street is now home to 17 floors of barristers, serviced office provider Opus Workspaces (BCL’s wholly owned subsidiary) and 13 commercial and retail tenancies. BCL purchased 200 Queen Street in August 2024.

Aickin Chambers was named in honour of Sir Keith Aickin.  Sir Keith Aickin was mentored as an associate to the then High Court Justice Owen Dixon before working as an advisor to the United Nations in its infancy, and later being admitted to the Bench of the High Court himself.
